A self-contained, portable format that stands independently. Popular for trade shows, events, reception areas and retail displays. - Mesh Banners
Similar to outdoor vinyl but with a perforated surface that allows wind to pass through. The go-to for scaffolding, fencing and any exposed outdoor setting where wind is a factor. - Teardrop and Feather Banners
Tall, narrow flags on a flexible pole. High visibility from a distance, particularly good for outdoor events, car yards and street-front locations where you want to attract passing traffic.

Pull-up banners are a self-contained, portable format; the banner rolls up into a compact base, sets up in seconds, and packs down just as quickly.
Gorilla Print offers two size options:
- 845 x 2000mm
- 1200 x 2000mm
Both come with a padded carry case and a 1-year warranty on the base. A deluxe version is also available that comes with a wider banner base.
Mesh Banners That are Ideal for the Job Site
Mesh banners are the go-to for construction site fencing, outdoor events and exposed street frontages, anywhere a solid vinyl banner would catch too much wind and risk coming down.
They work equally well indoors when you need large-scale coverage without the bulk of a rigid sign.

Get Noticed With Teardrop and Feather Banners
Teardrop and feather banners are tall, narrow flags on a flexible fibreglass pole, designed to move with the wind. Their height makes them visible from a distance, which is why they’re a natural fit for outdoor events.
Gorilla Print offers three shapes, each available in small, medium and large:
- Teardrop: A curved top that tapers to a point, keeping the flag taut and the design visible even in light wind.
- Feather: A classic elongated shape with a curved top edge, one of the most widely recognised flag formats.

Matching Your Banner Size to Your Setting
The right event banner sizes come down to three considerations: where the banner is going, how far away it needs to be read from, and how much space you have to work with.
A few practical guidelines:
- Viewing Distance
As a rule of thumb, text needs to be at least 25mm tall for every 3 metres of viewing distance. A banner on a busy footpath should be readable from around 10-15 metres. One on a roadside needs to be legible from 50 metres or more. - Available Space
Measure the space before you order. A banner that’s 200mm too wide for your shopfront or trade show booth creates more problems than it solves. - Target Audience
Pedestrians have more time to read than drivers. If your audience is moving fast, keep the message short and the text large. - Indoor vs Outdoor
Indoor banners don’t need to compete with sunlight or wind, which means you have more flexibility with colour contrast and format.
If you’re unsure, err on the side of slightly larger rather than smaller. A banner that fills the space looks intentional. One that’s too small looks like an afterthought.
