30 Day Guarantee
We have 100% confidence in the quality of our work, and so should you. So much so that we now offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee for any jobs that are not printed correctly when supplied correctly to our specifications.
If you have supplied us with print ready artwork as per our website specifications but have been given a product that has not printed within spec, contact us within 30 days and we will reprint or give you a 100% refund once the stock has been returned.
As part of our Money Back Guarantee we guarantee:
1. Accurate Quotes:
We will give you an accurate quote, based on the specs you have requested, for the goods and/or services you require, before we go to print. Our quotes include GST and "setup costs" but generally DO NOT include artwork charges and freight charges, as these are calculated when the job is completed. If you want us to include an artwork and/or freight estimate in your quote, or if there is anything we have not accounted for, please let us know at the time of quoting.
If your invoice varies in any way from what we quoted, we will refund you the difference, no questions asked.
2. Accurate Artwork
We will send you a digital version of your artwork to check, before we go to print. At this time it is important to ensure that any problems such as typos, spelling mistakes and low resolution or missing graphics are checked. Gorilla will not be liable for these errors if they are not picked up by you during the artwork approval stage and will not reprint or refund the job under these circumstances. If 100% colour accuracy is vital or if you have any other concerns about the colours/graphics of your job we recommend you request a physicalpre-production proof BEFORE we go to print (charges may apply).
If the artwork you approved is NOT the artwork we printed, we will reprint your job, or give you 100% money back.
A Note About Screen Colours vs Print Colours
The colours displayed on your screen ARE NOT the same as the colours on a printed page. Colour printed images are separated into four subtractive printing colours (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black - or CMYK). These four inks combined produce the illusion of a full range of colours on the printed page, but ultimately the typical magazine or brochure image is composed of only four colours. By comparison, computer monitors can display millions of colours, producing a richness of colour that is not always possible to replicate with colour printing. Also, computer screens display transilluminated images - the coloured light shines out from the screen. Transilluminated images deliver a much greater range of contrast and colour intensity than images printed on opaque paper, which depend on reflected light. Finally, computer displays show colour images differently depending on their quality/accuracy/calibration and use the additive RGB (red-green-blue) colour system, which can display a much broader and subtler range of colours than conventional four-colour printing.
In short, if 100% colour accuracy is vital or if you have any other concerns about the colours/graphics of your job we recommend you request a physical pre-production proof BEFORE we go to print (charges may apply).
A Note About Colours on Different Paper Stocks
The same colours printed on different paper stocks can look quite different depending on the whiteness of the paper, the absorbency of the paper, the thickness of the paper, whether the paper is coated or not and whether there has been additional processes like lamination etc. We asume that you will acknowledge this, but if you are unsure, please ask for our assistance before we print your job.
If the colours in your printed job are not the same as a supplied pre-production proof (acceptable variations for different paper stocks aside), we will reprint your job, or give you 100% money back.
3. Accurate Printing
Our production teams are dedicated to printing your job correctly every time. If, for any reason, we do not print your job within accepted specs, we will reprint for free, or refund your money. Management reserves the right to decide whether a job will be reprinted or refunded.
A Note About Gang Printing:
Many of our jobs are gang printed to keep your prices low. The acceptable gang printing standard spec is about 90-95% colour accurate, but can result in some colours not printing as well as others as well as some colour variations from run to run. If you must have 100% accuracy in colour, please notify us before we proceed to print, so that we can find alternative solutions for you (additional charges may apply). Again, if you have any concerns about the colours/graphics of your job we recommend you request a physical pre-production proof BEFORE we go to print (charges may apply). Also, please be aware that there is always going to be movement on the guillotine and 1-2mm of movement is considered within spec.
4. Accurate Timelines
Because of the wide range of goods and services we offer, turnaround times vary considerably. We have broad turnaround times listed on our website, but accurate turnaround times can only be guaranteed once artwork has been approved and your deposit has been cleared (if applicable). If you have a specific date or event you need the goods for, please notify us of that date when you approve your artwork.
If we fail to Print your job by the date you specified during the artwork approval process, we will give you 100% money back.
A Note About Couriers
Despite our best efforts, sometimes we are at the mercy of couriers. Unfortunately we can't be responsible for unforeseen and/or unwarranted delays due to couriers. If your job is urgent we strongly recommend that you arrange your own courier once printing is complete, if possible.
